Dr. Martin Chung (EUAP Research Assistant Professor) has been awarded the Asia-Europe Comparative Studies Research Project Academic Research Grant (AECSRP) by the Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM) for his research project “From Auschwitz to Nanjing: A Comparative Study of Chinese and European Cultures of Remembrance”. The grant is worth US$5,000 (upgradable to $8,000 with monograph publication) for the project to be completed in early 2015, which grew out of Dr. Chung’s EUAP Working Paper on “coming to terms with the past” in Europe and China
