Synopsis
Belgium passed a law allowing children under 12 to seek euthanasia, which is the first country world-wide to adopt such a policy. According to the law, only children who are suffering from terminal illness could request euthanasia, in which the patient, his/her parents and the doctor have to unanimously agree to the decision.
