Synopsis

Between the French and the British, who do you think is more hardworking?

Survey shows that the French have longer working hours per week than the British. Although the French government limited working hours to a maximum of 35 hours per week, it does not apply to the management level, where it is normal to work for more than 44 hours per week. There are even retail sellers which petitioned to the government to allow them to work till late at night or even on Sundays, so as to be able to earn more.
