Cooperation opportunities

Outreach is a core pillar of the European Union Academic Programme and we very much value all opportunities to cooperate with schools and education institutions.

The first Hong Kong-European Union School Pilot e-Learning Project has taken place between March and June 2015, where the EUAP cooperated closely with a total of 21 secondary schools and over 200 students across Hong Kong and the EU, giving participants a unique cross-continental exchange learning experience. Further collaborative e-Learning Projects are planned for the coming academic years, and we warmly welcome all schools interested to join us, to share the joy of intercultural, interactive and enriching learning.

In September 2014, we have commenced a themed series of events named “Urban Innovations”, which will last until February 2016. In this event, section “Green Cities” focuses on the environment and sustainable development. We warmly invite secondary school teachers and students to join us in our discussions, exhibitions and video-conversations and conferences with students in Europe.

“Urban Innovations” will cover seven European cities, five themes and forty events. All are free for you attend. Please visit http://euap.hkbu.edu.hk/series for the exact details and times of the events.

In addition, we welcome teachers and students to join and cooperate with us in planning any events or activities related to Europe or the EU. For example, we can arrange students who went on exchange programmes in Europe to share their thoughts and experiences with secondary students in Hong Kong schools. If teachers and students have any suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
