Every year the EUAP contributes a newspaper supplement under the theme of EU-HK exchange in occasion of the Europe Day (9 May). This year, EUAP Deputy Director Prof. Werner Hess has written an article titled “Europe Matters”/”歐洲，與我何干？” (translated) for the South China Morning Post and MingPao respectively – ‘What is the EU to do with me? Why should we in Hong Kong know about Europe and the European Union? What actually is the EU, apart from being an “over-complex suprational organization”?’
