Event Description:

Nice is the 5th largest city in France, located on the famous Côte d’Azur, backed by the French Alps and facing the Mediterranean Sea. It is the administrative capital of the Alpes-Maritimes department, under the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Nice is a living lab for urban innovation projects on a regional, national and European level, which seeks to become a green and sustainable ‘European lighthouse city’ with the use of digital technologies and other innovative measures. In 2017, the city became one of ten finalists for the EU iCapital Award on the strength of its comprehensive plans and projects for the digitalisation of the city, not least in smart energy grid solutions and healthcare innovations.

The exhibition showcases major urban planning concepts in the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur urban region and their implementation in selected projects. The projects include Nice’s smart grid initiatives, sustainable urban mobility planning, the integrated development of the Eco-Valley, the application of big data analytics in urban development, public/private partnership and knowledge transfer, education for sustainable development and the healthcare innovation ecosystem of Nice 27 Delvalle.

 尼斯是法國第五大城市，位於著名的蔚藍海岸地區（Côte d’Azur），背向阿爾卑斯山地區及面向地中海。它是普羅旺斯 – 阿爾卑斯蔚藍海岸(PACA)地區內濱海阿爾卑斯省（Alpes-Maritimes department）的行政首都。除了地區發展，尼斯更是法國國內和整個歐洲的都市創新實驗室。透過運用數碼及其它創新科技，尼斯致力成為一個綠色及可持續的「歐洲智能城市先軀」。在2017年，憑著全面的城市規劃、城市的數碼發展、智能電網計劃和創新醫療科技，尼斯成功打入了歐盟「創新首都」十強。

 是次展覽展示了「尼斯蔚藍海岸都市」城市規劃的概念以及相應的發展項目，其中包括電網計劃、可持續的都市運輸規劃、生態谷的綜合發展、大數據在城市規劃的應用、公私營合作及知識傳承、有關可持續發展的教育項目和尼斯 27 Delvalle創新健康中心。
