Assistant General Manager of Shekou Container Terminals
Oscar Wang is the Assistant General Manager of Shekou Container Terminals in charge of Human Resources and Administration departments, as well as terminal green projects.
As an expert and key facilitator on green terminals construction, he manages and promotes Electricity Rubber Gantry Tire Project, AMP Project, Internal LNG Tractors Project and Electric Patrolling Vehicle Project. All the mentioned projects were respectively awarded and subsidized by Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, National Development and Reform Commission, Guangdong Provincial Communications Department and Shenzhen Branch Trade and Industry Information Committee at a total prize of over 42 million RMB.
For nearly 27 years he has been working in the shipping and terminal industry, his career record includes 6 years in COSCO Penavico in Shipping Department in Qinhuangdao, China, and 5 years in China Merchants Group as the Vice President Secretary plus 2 years in China Merchants Holdings International as the General Manager of Human Resources Department in Hong Kong, and recent 13 years in Shekou Container Terminals oversees Human Resources, Administration and Health, Safety and Security departments.
Oscar holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Maastricht Business School and Shanghai Maritime University.
